MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Mindfulness and meditation are fundamental tools for the mind; sometimes they works best as a support for therapy. If you’re interested in therapy there are a lot of options for you at Yokosuka Naval Base and beyond. If you're feeling long term depression/anxiety or having suicidal ideations, please reach out to Yokosuka's mental health services as soon as possible or call the suicide prevention hotline listed in these resources.

Mindfulness and meditation are meant to work for the individual for everyday life, general anxiety and/or PTSD. While there is benefit in this alone, it is also great in support of therapy.
